How will we ensure that students achieve their full potential?
- By adopting a clear set of principles
- By enabling students to improve week by week
- By the setting of clear targets
- By celebrating achievements
- By monitoring progress
- By offering Support Clinics
We believe that all members of the community should be happy, safe, respected and valued. We will encourage high aspirations and high expectations. Learning will be conducted in an ordered and purposeful environment where everybody is clear about both rights and responsibilities.
Achievement is both recognised and celebrated and all students are challenged to improve on their previous best. Students will participate in a wide range of sporting, artistic and cultural activities out of the classroom and in the community. Parents will be encouraged to act as partners in the education and development of their children. Personal and social skills will be developed and students will leave Blurton High School as independent, confident, moral and compassionate young adults.
